(This next step is for when the game gives error messages) Get the NTLEAS locale emulator here to get the text in the game working properly: (I believe this comes with locale settings pre-configured.) Step 4: Change your locale back to English or whatever your original locale was if you want, though I recommend staying on Japanese locale. Step 3: Download the game ( ) After extracting the files (7-zip is recommended) extract the lzh file inside. Step 2: Download the Japanese RPG Maker 2003 RTP and install it. Step 1: Switch to Japanese locale in Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region -> Change keyboards or other input methods (this is for windows 7, not sure about other operating systems) -> Administrative tab -> Change system locale.
